Absorbing anecdotes about presidential candidates and their grandchildren, World War II generals, U.S. astronauts, spies, celebrities, artists, poets, and other well-known residents.
Hands-on learning about the trees, plants, and weeds that line Whitehaven Parkway.
Donations are accepted and will go the Burleith Community Fund, a 501(c)(3) entity. The book Burleith will be on sale at the picnic.
