To help keep our neighborhoods clean and healthy, Georgetown Community Partnership's Environment and Landlord Initiatives working group partnered with the Communications and Engagement working group to organize the 2016–2017 Clean Block Competition.

This fall, winter, and spring, the 2016–2017 Clean Block Competition will take place in the Burleith and West Georgetown neighborhoods. The cleanest blocks will be awarded gold and silver medals, displayed in the blocks’ treeboxes and on doorhangers, this fall, winter, and spring.

If you're a community member or GU student living in these neighborhoods, follow the tips on the Clean Block website to help keep our surroundings clean, safe, and litter-free!
