Burleith History Group

Originally formed to support Burleith’s 90th birthday activities in 2013, the Burleith History Group continues to research our community's past. Help us preserve the history of our neighborhood and apply our research results to relevant projects. The History Group meets periodically on Sundays at 4 pm. More →

Dining Club

The Dining Club consists of BCA members interested in social dining experiences such as potluck dinners, progressive dinners, or dining out at local restaurants. The club meets regularly on the first Friday of the month, usually at 6:30 pm. More

French Reading Group

The members of this group read aloud and discuss French books and short stories while enjoying wine and cheese in a comfortable social setting. The group meets Mondays at 8 pm. Express your interest →

Garden Club

Founded in 1926, the Burleith Garden Club played an important part in the development of the neighborhood until it was disbanded around 2000. Reborn in 2015, the club invites BCA members to share their love of gardening at its monthly Sunday meetings. More 

Hiking Group

Join us as we enjoy the many hiking venues in Washington, DC, and nearby Maryland and Virginia. The group typically meets on the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 9 am. More

Movie Group

Members of the Movie Group enjoy social and cultural activities related to movies and other performing arts. This group meets on the second Sunday of the month at various times depending on theater schedules. More →

Book Club

The Book Club is designed for 10 members and is currently full. Members take turns hosting meetings to discuss the 10 books chosen for the year in December. The club meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:15 pm. Efforts are underway to form a second Book Club. More
