Guy Mason: Death with Dignity briefing

Information provided by Cornelia D. Bell, DC Recreation Specialist, cornelia.bell@dc.gov

The Death with Dignity Act, was introduced in 2015 by Councilmember Mary Cheh for the purposes of allowing patients, for whom death is imminent, a peaceful passing on their own terms. As this proposal represents a significant change in options for residents in the District of Columbia, members of Councilmember Cheh's staff will host a presentation to discuss the bill's safeguards and answer community questions.
