From December 26 to January 8, the Department of Public Works will collect holiday trees and greenery from the curb in front of your home and will compost them.

After January 8, place holiday trees and greenery where your trash and recycling are collected and they will be picked up with your trash as space allows in the trash trucks.

Holiday trees and greenery brought to the Fort Totten Transfer Station (4900 John F. McCormack Drive NE) between December 26 and January 31 will be composted.
