President’s Farewell Message

Dear BCA Members & Former Members,

As of September 15th, I, Eric Langenbacher, am stepping down as President of the Burleith Citizens Association because my candidacy for the Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC 2E01) has been approved. John McGeary will take over for the rest of the year and will hopefully run for re-election in November.

It has been a great 12 years as BCA President with three US Presidents, two Ward 2 Councilmembers, and one Mayor. We traversed the Covid-19 pandemic together, celebrated 100 years as a neighborhood and civic association, and dealt with a myriad of issues.

It has been a real honor to volunteer with and for you.
