    Burleith Book Club

  • Purpose
    • The Burleith Book Club is designed for up to 10 members. Each year in December, the club meets to choose ten books to read in the following year. Each member provides a list of three books, and the group votes on which of the three books will become part of the year's book list. The Club meets once a month to discuss the month's book, with a break in either July or August to account for summer vacations. The December meeting is reserved for making the book selections for the following year, although a short story may be read and discussed at that meeting. Each member hosts one of the ten monthly meetings where the book that was read for that month is discussed.
